Israeli artist Yitzhak Yedid has been acclaimed as one of the world's leading composers of third stream music: a synthesis of classical music, jazz and improvisation. A master pianist and a shrewd composer, his music combines classical and free modern improvisation and Eastern Jewish music styles. Yedid has played Carnegie Hall in New York, has 11 CDs released internationally by some of the world's most prominent jazz and new music labels: Challenge Records International, Sony,-btl-, Muse, MCI, and Kaleidos.
